SIGN INTO GMAIL VIA SECURE CONNECTION

It is recommend for you to have a secure connection network between your PC and the Gmail server. Let say if you login to Gmail using a public network like wireless or hotspot in Starbucks, someone can tamper or see the sensitive information transferred from your PC to the Gmail server. This is because the network you are using is not secure and is open to everybody.

Npn-secure networks make it easier for someone to impersonate you and gain full access to your Google account, including any sensitive data it may contain like bank statements or online log-in credentials.

To check whether you are in a secure connection or not, check that the protocol that being used is https at the address bar. And also, there is a Lock icon at the bottom right corner of your browser (Firefox).
When you have both of them, that’s mean you are in a secure connection. No one can tamper or modify or spying on the data transferred between you and the Gmail server. You are now safe and secure to send emails, at least.

Enable the function

To enable this function, in Gmail, go to Settings. Under General tab, scroll down to the bottom and tick Always use https at Browser connection. After you clicked on the Save Changes button, Gmail will log you out and you have to login back but now, you will use https protocol.
window.google_render_ad();
Take note, when you are in a secure connection, Gmail speed will be decreased. This is because every data that you transfer will be encrypted first before your browser can send the data to the Gmail server.

Although it is not necessary to always connect to Gmail in a secure connection, but in my opinion, it is better to have this function enabled. We don’t know, maybe today, tomorrow, or later, someone might able to get our sensitive data just because we are too lazy or don’t want to use the security feature that have been provided by Google.

CCNS

Definition: A certification designed for individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise with Cisco content networking solutions, including knowledge of content edge delivery, content distribution and management, content switching, and content routing.

To Obtain:

You must hold Cisco CCNP or CCIP certification.
You must pass two exams:
Building Cisco Content Networking Solutions Exam (CN 640-925), which lasts up to 180 min and includes135-145 questions

CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional

The Cisco Certified Network Professional, or CCNP, is the intermediate certification track offered by Cisco. As a stand-alone certification, or as part of the path for those who wish to become CCIE certified, the CCNP is targeted at those who have a good working knowledge of networks and the inherent tasks that are needed to install, configure, administer, troubleshoot medium to large-sized systems.

In order to become a certified CCNP, candidates must first hold a valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification which is essentially Cisco's entry-level networking certification, and then pass 4 further CCNP exams

CCNA

Cisco’s CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an introductory-level certification. The 640-801 single exam option is the most popular route to earning the CCNA; however, a two-exam option was introduced by Cisco in 2003.

The CCNA is designed for IT professionals who can “install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay.

Computer Security

Computer security or Home Computer Security is the effort to create a secure computing platform, designed so that agents (users or programs) can only perform actions that have been allowed. This involves specifying and implementing a security policy.

Home Computer Security is a effort to make a secure computing platform for home users.
The actions in question can be reduced to operations of access, modification and deletion. Computer security can be seen as a subfield of security engineering, which looks at broader security issues in addition to computer security.
Computer security is the process of preventing and detecting unauthorized use of your computer. Prevention measures help you to stop unauthorized users (also known as "intruders") from accessing any part of your computer system.Detection helps you to determine whether or not someone attempted to break into your system, if they were successful, and what they may have done.

Set the Search Screen to the Classic Look

When I first saw the default search pane in Windows XP, my instinct was to return it to its classic look; that puppy had to go. Of course, I later discovered that a doggie door is built into the applet. Click "Change preferences" then "Without an animated screen character." If you'd rather give it a bare-bones "Windows 2000" look and feel, fire up your Registry editor and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ CabinetState.

You may need to create a new string value labeled "Use Search Asst" and set it to "no"
